'RAMPAGE' (2000, computer
animation, 3 min 55) |
| In Rampage, as in many of my other
computer based projects, I used a number of photographs as a
starting point, which I manipulated and combined to create my
own land- or city-scapes. Equally important though, is also
the sound in the piece. Similar to the visuals, I constructed
my own soundscape, based on a variety of sources (sound effects,
music, soundbites from films). The animation starts with three
basic settings, which have a certain cinematic atmosphere, but
also hint at a narrative, and then gradually moves into an increasingly
fast moving audio and visual deconstruction and collage of those
three basic settings. |
| 'Rampage' was created using adobe
photoshop, adobe premiere and the soundscape audio suite |
