'RAMPAGE' (2000, computer animation, 3 min 55)
In Rampage, as in many of my other computer based projects, I used a number of photographs as a starting point, which I manipulated and combined to create my own land- or city-scapes. Equally important though, is also the sound in the piece. Similar to the visuals, I constructed my own soundscape, based on a variety of sources (sound effects, music, soundbites from films). The animation starts with three basic settings, which have a certain cinematic atmosphere, but also hint at a narrative, and then gradually moves into an increasingly fast moving audio and visual deconstruction and collage of those three basic settings.
'Rampage' was created using adobe photoshop, adobe premiere and the soundscape audio suite
